Wouldn't it be sweet to win $500 in gift certificates to downtown Kent businesses? Well someone just did -- Congratulations to KSU freshman, Hunter Custer! 

On Saturday, August 25th, Main Street Kent hosted a Scavenger Hunt at the annual student welcome event, Discover Downtown. The whole idea was to show students all our amazing downtown has to offer -- just minutes from campus. Students were given a list of eleven businesses to visit, with a question to figure out at each one. Restaurants, coffee shops, and a variety of shops were on the list. Lots of exploring was done, and one lucky winner was drawn from all of the entries.
