Marvel's The Amazing Spiderman opens July 3 at midnight, rebooting the Spiderman series for a new generation just a few years after the last reboot.
Peter Parker, (played by Andrew Garfield) is your typical high school nerd: Super intelligent but socially awkward. Left orphaned by his parents at a young age, Parker tries to uncover the mystery of his parents' death while developing "amazing" super powers.

Spiderman is rated PG-13 for scenes of action and violence and lasts two hours and 16 minutes.
Claudia Puig, of the USA Today, said: "As a new chapter in the superpowered arachnid saga, it stands on its own quite nicely, focusing more on human emotions than on a panoply of special effects."
