Can you smell it? Summer is in the air.

The flowers are blooming, the steaks are grilling and campfires are burning. It may not officially be summer time, but we're all feeling it.

Everyone loves some good music at cookouts and everyone has a favorite song that reminds them of summer, and we want to know: What's yours?

I do like a couple of Sinatra songs. Sinatra sings me and my wifes song: "Strangers in the night" and when we first met we were strangers in the night.

In the old days when that song was playing on the radio, the DJ's loved it too. They would put it on and then they would go to the bathroom and do whatever else they needed to do and still have time to spare.

Patch has become the equivalent of a lame high school newspaper for the middle-aged (with, apparently, horrible musical tastes). How about some real news for a change?

A "lame high school newspaper for the middle-aged" THAT YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY READING. I can see why you are interested in "some real news"... it's depressing too.

It's unfortunate that there always has to be one person that feels the need to share their ignorance and short-sightedness with the rest of us. Well put Bill. No one is making Paxton read this. Patch.com and all those associated with it are doing a fantastic job doing what they do. The people that appreciate what Patch.com is providing far outweigh those that feel the need to gripe for the sake being able to read what they type.
