WATCH: Donation to Kent Fire Department Could Save Your Pet's Life
Invisible Fence donated pet oxygen masks to the Kent Fire Department to save animals from smoke inhalation on Sunday.
The Kent Fire Department has new equipment that might just save your pet's life someday.
Invisible Fence, a pet safety company, recently donated rescue oxygen masks to 12 local fire departments, including Kent.
The mask donations are part of the company's Project Breathe, a nation-wide effort to equip fire stations across the U.S. and Canada with the special masks.
Firefighters from around the area were in Stow to receive the donations and were trained on how to use the devices.
Invisible Fence donated a total of 19 masks to help safety forces efficiently administer oxygen to a stricken animal.

Every pet owner should have a label on all their outside doors letting the fire department know a animal (s) are inside the home. Hard to find the labels but so worth it. I am so glad that my precious dog could be saved with oxygen and now a much needed mask to boot.

You don't even need an 'official' label. You could make one of your own! Just a simple 'NOTICE ___ Dogs ___ Cats Inside In case of Fire' and definitely tell your neighbors!!!
