Thanks, Peter, for sharing your heartfelt memories of Sandy.
I am a Kentite, and on May 4th, 1970, I was a senior at Roosevelt High School. They closed our school, and sent us home, and I remember the war-zone atmosphere of our little town of Kent during that time. We had a curfew, helicopters were flying overhead, etc...... Thank you for sharing. Regina

If you went to Kent State, graduated from KSU, or are from Kent, or even consider yourself a " Kentite"..!! May 4th
is not just another day in May !!! God Bless KSU, and all involved or remembered for May 4,1970 ...
