Video: Tour the Site of the Kent State Shootings
Markers, video and audio guide visitors around the site of the May 4, 1970 shootings
Visitors to the Kent State University campus this year can take a guided tour of the site of the May 4, 1970, shootings that killed four and wounded nine.
Last year, the university dedicated a walking tour of the site. Visitors can use an iPod or cellphone to listen to audio or watch a video that guides you around the site, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Laura Davis, faculty coordinator for May 4 initiatives at Kent State, explains how the tour works in this video.
