Kent Patch is counting down the top 10 most read stories of 2012 with the story that had the most readers to be announced on New Year's Eve
Editor's note: In our second year reporting on Kent, Kent Patch produced 2,000 news articles — excluding events and announcements — about everything from lost pets to the city budget.
But only 10 of those stories were the most read on our site after having received thousands of individual readers each.
Counting down to New Year's Eve, Kent Patch will announce the top ten most-read stories of the year with the story that received the most readers announced on Dec. 31.
Today we're revealing story No. 1, which originally appeared Feb. 5, 2012, and received 659 Facebook recommendations and 38 tweets.

Mara Dematia will present a program about Robert's artistic contribution Feb. 3 3pm at the UU church of Kent. A memorial has been set up in his honor at the Hometown Bank with the funds to be used to catalog and archive his work. A memorial exhibit of his work is available for viewing at the FJKluth Art Gallery, 300 N. Water St. Contributions of stories about Robert to the gallery will be appreciated. At the gallery is the beginning script of a Opera about Robert taken from his writings.

Thinking he is clever, the guy who can't even spell waving, makes his snide comment about Bob from a position of ignorance. He obviously has no clue about the mental demons of either Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) or Tourette's Syndrome. I suggest he spend some time studying mental disorders. He might become a bit more tolerant. He might sometime even be able to say,"There, but for the grace of God, go I."

As a frequenter of the Haymaker Market, I have some of FU Bob's artwork. None of the creepy nude ladies, just a humble rainforest frog and something else that got stashed away years ago. yet the man still flicked me off. And oddly, he was always spot on and polite and very capable when I or anyone else was interested in his artwork. Maybe flicking people off helped him count sidewalk cracks?

Not odd that Bob was spot on, polite, and capable. For a better uderstanding of OCD, go online and open the OCD Foundation site. The foundation offices are in New Haven, Connecticut.
Learning about it will provide you with a better understanding of Bob.
