Share your best recipes for the day after.
Dinner’s done and the only thing more stuffed than the bird is you. Now the question becomes: what to do with all those leftovers?
While many say simple reheating is all that’s necessary to have a “day after” feast, others have elaborate recipes for turning Thanksgiving leftovers into gourmet delights.
From savory turkey soups to sinfully delicious pot pies and mile-high sandwiches, everyone has their own ideas on what to do with what’s leftover. The Food Network even has an entire recipe collection dedicated to the topic.

Not everyone can be perfect like the earth lady, but we enjoy ourselves on Thanksgiving with two turkeys. Cousins come and go throughout the day, and the only leftovers we have are the desserts.
The best way to work off that turkey, we've found, is a good Euchre competition with the family and the laughter that always ensues.

Andrew,
the laughter is the greatest gift, although Euchre comes in a close 2nd. My leftover turkey gets made into turkey salad sandwich mix from a recipe passed down from my mother using her very own hand-cranked grinder. The joy of making it is in the memories.
