Here's the latest batch of building permits issued by the Kent Community Development Department:

  • Europe Gyro, 120 S. Water St., Shish-Kabob House remodel, $40,000
  • Enterprise Plastics, 1500 Enterprise Way, second storage silo, no cost listed
  • College Town Kent LLC, 215 E. Erie St., Dino Palmieri Salon, Suite 106, $60,000
  • College Town Kent LLC, 295 S. Water St., Market Path tenant build-out, $150,000
  • Fairmount Properties, 100 E. Erie St., Suite 122, signs for Carnaby Street Style, $3,000
  • Restore Group LLC, 835 Mae St., interior rehabilitation, $35,000
  • RLB Phoenix Properties, 175 E. Erie St., Popped! third floor build-out, $4,500

The owner of Europe Gyro has something planned for the spot where The Backerei was (now called Baked in the Village), they didn't renew the lease and that's why the baking business had to move.
