Members of the Kent and Kent State University communities can wish the Golden Flashes well on their way to Alabama and the GoDaddy.com Bowl during a send-off event Wednesday.

Here are the details from Kent State Athletics:

5-5:45pm

• Autograph Session at Laziza
• Coach Hazell and a select group of players will sign autographs 
• Free commemorative posters will be distributed

5:50pm

• Flag Changing Ceremony at AMETEK (corner of Erie St./Water St.) where AMETEK will change their International Flags to Kent State Flags

6-8pm “Portage Community Bank – Bowl Preview Show”

• Live at Water Street Tavern
• Hosted by Ty Linder, Rob Polinsky and David Carducci
• Special guests including Coach Darrell Hazell, members of the Athletic Department and Kent business community.
