Readers Choice: Nominate Your Favorite Auto Mechanic
Tell us who's the best mechanic in Kent
Cars break down. It's a fact of life. And somebody has to fix them. But who does it the fastest, for the best price or simply does the best repair?
Nominate your favorite mechanic in the comments and we'll put together a poll that allows everyone to vote on the favorites.
We’ll keep accepting nominations through July 9. After that, nominations will be closed and we’ll start the voting, so make sure to get in your favorites now.
All you need to do to nominate a business is to add it in the comments below. If you already see the business you want to nominate, make sure to add your comment about why it should be included, because we may not be able to add all businesses to our poll and we want to make sure the top ones make it into the poll.
Thanks in advance for your participation.
PS: Sign up for the _KENT PATCH NEWSLETTER_ to find out when voting starts so you can support your favorite institution in the Readers' Choice contest.

Fred's Automotive hands down. The owner Larry is honest and knowledgeable. No wonder they are so busy.

Knapp's Collision is by far the best body shop in town. Bob Knapp, the owner, has fixed all our cars. He saved my car from being totaled when I slid on ice and hit a tree. He talked the tow truck driver (who said he couldn’t get it out of the ditch without damaging it beyond repair) through with instructions on how to get it out of the ditch, worked with the insurance company, and fixed it as good as new. Bob is honest, his prices are reasonable, and his work is impeccable.
