Pro Gun Group Cites Kent Shops Welcoming, Opposed to Firearms
NEO Carry recently held an open-carry gun demonstration in downtown Kent
NEO Carry, a recently established pro-gun group in Northeast Ohio, is advising members and other Ohio residents who carry guns what businesses they can and cannot carry their weapons into.
The group, which recently held an open-carry demonstration in downtown Kent, has listed dozens of businesses — including many Kent shops — on its website advising which allow people to carry guns on their premises and those that prohibit firearms.
Here are the Kent businesses flagged by NEO Carry as either prohibiting firearms or welcoming people who carry openly or have concealed carry weapon permits:
|Does Not Openly Prohibit Firearms on Premises||Prohibits Firearms|
|Buffalo Wild Wings||Cajun Dave's|
|City Service Towing||Dominicks|
|Enterprise Rent-A-Car||Kent Plaza Movie Theater|
|Franklin Square Deli||Water Street Tavern|
|Off the Wagon|
According to NEO Carry, businesses listed as "gun friendly" on their website were identified as such because there are no "Guns Prohibited" signs posted and no problems have been reported for carrying there by NEO Carry members.
Establishments listed as not gun friendly by NEO Carry were identified for either posting signs prohibiting firearms or because members were asked to leave, according to the group's website.
