Last week Portage County officials closed the future site of the new Kent courthouse to parking.

Since then, it's seemed as if other parking places around town have become busier — with spaces harder to find.

What do you think?

It really depends on what time you're downtown. I saw at least 3 open spots on S.Water today at lunch (but then, I do tend to go a little earlier - 11:30)

The real test will be on the weekend. Friday evenings at dinner time has been ridiculous lately. It'll be nice when the parking garage is finished.

The lot behind Ametek and Davy is open and barely used on the weekends and evenings. It's public parking after 5pm ( or maybe its 6) on weekdays.
Parking on Depeyster between Erie and Main is possible in the evenings and weekends but can be hit or miss depending on the construction.

I know Jimmy Johns delivers and I'm going to gather a guess that a large percentage of their business comes from said deliveries, making the parking less problematic than it could be.
