Work is just about finished on the Star of the West Milling of Ohio's realignment of its loading dock on North Water Street.

The mill started work this spring to change the angle of the dock so trucks making deliveries would no longer disrupt traffic on the busy downtown street.

Prior to the change, the truck drivers were forced to park their trucks partially on the street at an angle that blocked the entire southbound lane.

That is good, because the drivers were beggin' for an avoidable accident by not using spotters to direct traffic when attempting their Jack-knifing procedure... which often was not 100% successful at the dock anyway!

Seems like a win-win all around based on feedback on the several articles we've run. Kudos to the mill for making the change.
