Homeless Woman Charged with Breaking and Entering: Blotter

A homeless woman charged with breaking and entering and theft was arrested recently at Silver Meadows Apartments.

Kent Police arrested Samantha J. Oswalt, 26, a native of Warren, OH, and charged her with breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony, and theft, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Oswalt pleaded not guilty to the theft charge in Portage County Municipal Court on Oct. 7, according to court records.

She was arrested Oct. 5 at 922 Lawrence Court at apartment 2. Oswalt told police she works at Wendy's in Stow.
