Groundbreaking Today for Kent State Hotel
University, development partner mark ceremonial start to construction in downtown Kent
This morning officials at will break ground on a new hotel bearing the same name to be built in downtown Kent.
The to build the four-story hotel, which is expected to have about 95 rooms and a 300-seat banquet and conference center.
The groundbreaking is scheduled to start at 11 a.m. at the construction site, which is bordered by Haymaker Parkway, South DePeyster and Erie streets in downtown Kent.
