Whats happening in this world today. School shootings you cant go watch a movie shopping you cant even do that. Where are we safe noplace. In regards to the schools-we need better security and i know thats easy to say. The time has come to do something about it. If i had to pay a higher tax to install the needed security then its money well spent. My main concern here is the Kent city schools i attended Davey and Kent Roosvelt. I dont want to see a shooting happen here now or anytime. Mark Wolff

I am working in a childcare and we are taking kids outside almost every day. and its scares me to death, to even think that at those times some psyco with the guns will deside on show up. I can't even fathom that happenning. We need stronger laws and psychologycal evaluation for everybody, who will decide to buy a gun, or carry it and so on. Can we have stronger security? And how can we implement it, even in one state, where there are so many schools and child cares? Oh God, help us all!!!

Bless those that came forward to protect as many kids possible, they are with out a doubt angels, the saddness I feel for the families that lost loved ones, is such a tragic, uncalled for event, those that are labeled loners should at least be evaluated intenselyto see if there are any violent intendences, to protect this from happeneing again

When we talk about more security, I keep thinking of the old, old 70-80 year old security that I have seen at the malls and other places. If we can not do better than this then what chance do we have. These security people should be paid well, should be of age that is appropriate, have lots of training.Every store now has electronic barriers we have to walk thru tp prevent stealing items from the store. If they can do that then we can prevent some of this type stuff. Our lives are worth much more than the store profit!! Guns do not kill, but the people do.

All of these shootings occur in Gun-Free Zones, the bad guys know that they will be met with little to no resistance, then as soon as the police show up(Guys with Guns) they kill themselves because they are cowards who can only go after unarmed weaker victims.

If Guns could be vaporized from the planet then that would solve gun crime. They can't be. Bringing a gun onto school grounds is already illegal. Passing more laws will not change the fact that bad guys break the law.

You can't make guns go away. Period. Passing more laws will only inhibit the law abiding people from protecting themselves. The War on Drugs has shown that even when a product is banned nationwide it will still get in. Especially with our weak border security.

I would pay extra to have my children go to a school with well compensated and trained armed guards or simply staff members who choose to receive the licensing and training to carry a firearm in an official capacity.

Yes you are rite baning guns will only take guns from the law biding people. I live in fl we can carry a gun with a permit down hear in FL and many do. We have no problums becuse the criminal knows he or she will be shot buy a law biding citisen he or she mite get one or two shot off but he or she will be shot so thay thank twist before robing of doing a shoting like the one in the move theater and now this one in Connecticut thay will never take my guns from me with out a big mess . It is my rite to bare arms. if the gov takes are guns thay can do what thay whant to us just like the ss was doing to the people in Germany. The people that want to bane guns are just not thanking it out thay are taking the easy way out people kill people not the guns . We shoud bane young girls from having cell phones in cars that will save more lives then baning guns just look next time you are on the road the young girls are texing and talking on the phone all the time in the car and triying to drive just look next time.We donot nead more goverment or more laws. We nead all are guns yes ar15 and ak47 if you let the gov bane ar and aks that is the start thay will take you bb gun to and then your sling shots you all know i am rite thay will just keep taking your rites away little buy little. Know one neads a ar15 or a ak47 but you cant let the goverment take them that is the start of goverment loop holes to take all guns

Dictionaries don't spell, people spell with dictionaries.
