Armed Robbery in Silver Meadows
Kent police investigating after woman reported robbery
Two men robbed a woman at gunpoint in the Silver Meadows Apartment complex Sunday afternoon, according to Kent police.
A black male and a second man possibly of Middle Eastern descent approached a woman near 1210 Anita Drive and asked her for a cigarette at about 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The men then demanded the woman's purse and fled on foot farther into the apartment complex, according to police.
The woman told police one of the suspects held a black handgun to her head.
The suspects were described as: a black male in his early 20s wearing a black hoodie, and a Middle Eastern man about 5 feet 10 inches tall, also in his early 20s, wearing a black hoodie.
The woman identified one of the possible suspects to police, who have requested a warrant for the man but have not identified him.
Anyone with information about the crime can call Kent police at 330-673-7732.

If this story is true , I'm glad the woman didn't get hurt. Holding a gun to her head in broad daylight?
That is crazy. And then we had the stabbing in that area last week, not good.
