Kent State University recently awarded 338 associate degrees, 1,230 bachelor’s degrees and 406 graduate degrees during its fall 2011 commencement exercises held at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center.

Of the 384 bachelor’s degree students graduating with academic honors, 79 earned summa cum laude distinction with a 3.8 to 4.0 grade point average, while 92 were magna cum laude (3.60 to 3.79) and 213 were cum laude (3.3 to 3.59).
