Paul James Wallace, 83, Kent State University professor emeritus of music, former Ludwig Music Publishing vice president and Kent Rotary past president, died Oct. 27.
He began teaching trombone and euphonium at the university in 1963, became a full professor in 1973 and retired in 1985.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until noon services Monday, Oct. 31, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 600 S. Water St., Kent, OH 44240.
